Please send in your Box tops again this year!!!!

Welcome to another year of collecting Box Tops for Education! If you are not familiar with it, Box Tops for Education is a terrific program sponsored by General Mills that allows us to earn cash for our school.

Box Tops coupons can be found on many products, including food items like all Cheerio cereals and Pop Secret Popcorn or non-food products like Kleenex and Zip Lock Bags. (See the list of participation products at boxtops4eduacation.com) All you have to do is cut the Box Tops coupon off the participating Brand and send them to Nixon. We’ll do the rest!

Last year, Nixon earned over $1,000 collecting Box Tops!

Again, we are awarding your children an extra recess if they exceed last year’s total by 10%! When we collect 12,500 Box Tops, all Nixon students will receive an extra recess. If we collect $15,400 Box Tops (35% over last year), students will get a second extra recess!

 If your family is not participating, give it a try! Chances are you’re throwing away Box Tops without even knowing it! Each Box Top we collect is worth 10 cents. Super box tops earn 50 cents.

If every child brought in 5 box tops per month, Nixon would earn $2,083 this year – it’s that easy!!

Please encourage your kids to get involved! To make collecting fun for kids, there are collection sheets that you can download (boxtops4education.com) and print, or you can pick up already printed ones at the Box Tops for Education display in the Nixon front hall. Or, feel free to use a plastic bag or envelope instead.
